MANEATINGPLANT began in 2018 as a humble tent pop-up in Torrance, California. Founded by husband and wife duo Candice and Philip Kwan, the concept reimagines the Chinese, Taiwanese, and Japanese flavors they grew up loving through a fresh, plant-based perspective.
Rooted in nostalgia, creativity, and a love for bringing people together, MANEATINGPLANT hit the road in 2021 with Olive, their school bus turned food truck, serving communities across Southern California.
